What are the primary requirements to join?
How long does the application process take?

We seek experienced domestic professionals with a minimum of 3–5 years of relevant, hands-on experience and verifiable references. Candidates must meet the Agency’s established standards, including successful completion of background screening, with preference given to those who have held similar roles in private households.

Requirements:

  • CPR and First Aid certification (required)

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Willingness to complete background and, if requested, drug screening

  • Ability to perform all essential duties of the position without limitation

Initial review typically happens within 48–72 hours of receiving your form. The total timeline varies based on your background and the specific role's requirements, but we focus on clear and efficient communication throughout.

How will you communicate with me?

We primarily communicate via email and scheduled phone appointments to ensure clarity. You will receive a personal follow-up once your placement form has been reviewed by our team.

What is the replacement policy for candidates?

We offer a 30-day replacement policy. If a placement is not a cultural fit within the first month, we will re-initiate the search to ensure both the household and the professional are satisfied with the long-term arrangement.

Is my personal information kept confidential?

Confidentiality is a cornerstone of BALIA. All candidate records, work history, and identity documentation are stored securely and only shared with prospective clients as part of a formal introduction.

Do I need to pay a fee to apply?

No, there is never a fee for candidates to apply or be placed. Our fees are exclusively handled by the hiring households, ensuring our search focuses solely on finding the best talent for our clients.
